Clovis Gautreau, 66, died Thursday at the Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital, Moncton, atter a lengthy illness.

Born at Pré-d'en-Haut, he was a son of the late Eloi and Tilda (Gautreau) Gautreau. He was a carpenter by trade.

He is survived by his wife, the former Eveline LeBlanc: three daughters, Mrs. Raymond Miller (Pauline) of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Mrs. Phyllis LeBlanc of Worcester, Mass., and Miss Anne Gautreau of North Reading, Mass.; a son, Lloyd Gautreau of Waltham, Mass.; a grandson; four brothers, Aurèle, Albert and Alyre, all of Pré-d'en-Haut, and Arthur Gautreau of Moncton; five sisters, Emerise Gautreau and Mrs. Alcide Robichaud (Ella), both of St. Anselme, Mrs. Zoel Richard (Evangeline), Mrs. Albertina Belliveau and Mrs. Ronald Cormier (Stella), all of Pré-d'en-Haut, and by nieces and nephews. His mother died Dec. 26.

The body is at Dupuis' Funeral Home, Memramcook. The funeral mass will be celebrated 2 p.m. Sunday from the Notre Dame de L'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pré-d'en-Haut. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
